The OEM needed steering-wheel controls that deliver a crisp, reliable click and withstand sweat, spills, and extreme temperatures. Swiclick supplied our IP67-rated tactile switches with precision-tuned actuation force and ultra-short travel to ensure ergonomic comfort and long-term durability under all driving conditions.
2. Integration & Testing
We seamlessly integrated the switches using automated SMT assembly, then subjected each unit to rigorous environmental testing—thermal cycling from –20 °C to +70 °C, water-jet exposure, and over 100,000 actuation cycles—to confirm zero early failures and full compliance with automotive reliability standards.
